Comfort for the Room Your Main System Never Reaches
The bonus room over the garage that is unbearable by June. The sunroom nobody uses past April. The converted attic, the finished space above a detached garage, the office you built out back. A ductless mini-split cools and heats that space directly, without tearing into walls to extend ductwork that was never designed to reach it.
How installation and repair work
Installation
We size the unit to the specific room, not the whole house, then install the indoor unit, the outdoor unit, and the line set that connects them through a small wall penetration. Most single-zone installs are completed in a day. We test the system fully before calling the job done and walk you through the controls.
Repair
Ductless systems have their own set of common issues: a dirty filter restricting airflow, a refrigerant leak at a line set connection, a failing compressor in the outdoor unit, or an error code on the indoor unit's display. We diagnose the actual cause, give you a price up front, and repair it the same way we approach any AC repair: honestly.
Where a mini-split makes sense
These systems solve a specific problem: a space your main HVAC system cannot comfortably serve. Common examples in Cobb and Cherokee county homes include:
Bonus room over the garage
Usually the farthest point from the main system's ductwork and often the hottest room in the house
Sunroom or three-season room
Built with different insulation and window area than the rest of the home
Home addition
Extending existing ductwork is often more disruptive and costly than a dedicated unit
Converted attic or bedroom
Ductwork was never run to a space that was not originally living area
Detached garage or home office
No connection to the main system at all, so a mini-split is often the only practical option
Finished basement
Can run warmer or cooler than the rest of the house depending on ductwork layout
Signs your mini-split needs attention
The room it serves is not reaching the set temperature
A noticeable drop in airflow from the indoor unit
An error code showing on the indoor unit display
Water leaking or dripping from the indoor unit
Ice forming on the indoor coil or the line set
Unusual noise from the outdoor condenser unit
If any of these sound familiar, it's time to call
Systems rarely fail without warning. Catching it early is almost always cheaper than an after-hours repair.

Pricing for ductless installation and repair
Installation pricing depends on the number of zones, the unit size needed for the space, and the length of the line set run. You will get a written estimate before any work begins. Repairs follow the same rule: a diagnosis, a written price, and your approval before we proceed. Ask about payment options for a new installation.
The room gets uncomfortable well before the rest of the house
Bonus rooms and additions tend to run hotter in summer and colder in winter than the rest of a home, since they sit outside the main system's reach. Installing a mini-split before the season peaks means the room is usable all summer instead of avoided until fall.
